Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

                                                        Q. Do you offer 45-min or one-hour lessons?

                                                        A. Yes.  I offer the option of 'twice-a-month', 45/60 minute lessons to teens 14+ and adults who find it difficult to commit

to a weekly schedule yet still want to progress at piano.

                                                       Q. What about travel lessons, or 'a-la-carte" lessons for a student that comes from a distance?

                                                        A. Yes, travel lessons and students travelling ten miles or more will have fees adjusted accordingly.

                                                       Q. Are there sibling discounts available?

                                                        A. Yes.

                                                                       Q. What is your absence / make-up policy?

                                                        A. Two make-up classes are already built into the yearly schedule - there are 32 lessons scheduled, but tuition is based

upon 30 lessons.   So, if you have to miss a lesson suddenly, there is no need to cringe!

Conversely, if you do not end up missing any lessons - well, you have gotten two weeks free!

                                                        Q. What about summer lessons?

                                                        A. Summer lessons are strongly encouraged in my studio, so that students can continue to hone

their skills and to stay sharp.  In addition, if the student wishes to participate in the Spring Festival

in March or other judged events, summer lessons are an invaluable tool to get a head start with these.
