Studio Information & Policies

Annual Registration Fee

♬  Registration fees in this studio are used to offset certain costs such as recital venue, piano tunings, teacher workshops/memberships, and rewards/incentives. Most music is covered in this fee but for certain events there may be additional music fees. This fee is non-refundable and non-negotiable.

Tuition Payments

♩  Tuition is due the first week of each month.  Tuition can be paid using Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, cash or check.

♩  Tuition covers not only the contact time spent with the student, but also the time spent in preparation for the student.  Each student is scheduled for a specific time slot and your payment reserves that time slot.

Sickness & Cancellations / Absences / Make-Up Lessons

If your child is sick, please do not bring them to piano lessons.

If they have a mild cold or a sickness  where they can function but should remain home, please contact me for a Facetime lesson.  In turn, if I have a cold, I will text you that morning to arrange a Facetime lesson.

If I have to miss a lesson for any reason (including sickness), you will receive a make-up lesson time from me.

Two make-up classes are already built into the yearly schedule - there are 32 lessons scheduled, but tuition is based upon 30 lessons.   So, if you have to miss a lesson suddenly, there is no need to cringe! Conversely, if you do not end up missing any lessons - well, you have gotten two weeks free!

REMEMBER - Forgetting is Forfeiting!

Practicing -  Is IMPORTANT!

Parental involvement is vital to your child's continued musical development.

Practicing within the first 24 hours after a lesson is essential in order to successfully reinforce new material which was covered in the lesson.
